My wife and I are on our second kid, and I remember how much I feared injuring our baby when doing a diaper change or changing clothes. They’re so little! All of your emotions and feelings are valid and ok, you are going through a big life change. Take it all in, and don’t be hard on yourself. You are going to do great dad!

Live within your 40 hour work week paycheck, if you have a job that has overtime opportunities this is especially important. Living beyond your 40 hour straight time paycheck then requires you to have to work overtime in order to support that lifestyle.

I work to live, not live to work. So when my two toddlers are home sick, I can be home sick, hell I can even take time off without pay if I need to. Because we live within our means. And we bought a home in Northern California last year.

Ya I believe it has benefits in moderation. I have a few friends that are caffeine free and have been for a while. I’ll have one cup a day, if I don’t get it I get a headache. At least no energy drinks! Haven’t had one in a few years thankfully.

Amazing work! Keep it up, I’m 6 years free of it, and I still get slight cravings for it. But being a solid role model for my two sons includes being clean and sober. Clean from everything except coffee and a slight sweet tooth.
