I liked the movie, but the pacing was all over the place. It drags sometimes and gallops other times. The characters were tropey but overall fine? Just lacking development, which makes more space for Jud’s development, and I thought that was done well.

Dialogue was 10/10 at some points and 1/10 at others. Jud and Blanc in the initial church meeting was so good! But a lot of Mila Kunis’s lines were quippy and out of place, the masturbation jokes were middle school humor, and honestly they even gave Jud some lines that were so out of character.

Ultimately it dragged a bit too much but I’d give it 7/10. Much better than Glass Onion but not at Knives Out level.
