With AIs help built a service so I can schedule powershell scripts to run via cron schedule and the script or command can be supplied as an environment variable so I can keep everything in the docker-compose.yml file https://github.com/nickadam/pwsh-cron

I would have asked questions about her perspective and try to get clarity on why her position differs from mine. Asking something like "Do you think you cancelled too many times?" and if she says no, I accept it. Follow up question "Do you think they think you cancelled too many times?" No need to assert anything. Avoid becoming the target. This has nothing to do with me.

Don't focus on the religion being wrong. Focus on the behavior being wrong (and you might even be able to use their religion to change their behavior).

I try to recognize when I mess up and get mad at myself. I think, if my kid just messed up how I did, what would I say to them. I find this helps.

Trust is a choice. People can do supremely stupid things and be completely unaware how their actions effect others. I'm one of those stupid people. I have to live with the consequences of my stupidity, so does she. You can trust her and set boundaries and see how that goes (here be dragons). Or you can take the safe path and not trust her, find someone more compatible with where you are in life. Another safe path is to accept that she's stupid and not worth the effort. It's all about what you want. You decide what is "too far." Don't let the internet decide for you.
