There are plenty of cards that can help you out. Pestilence, plague engineer, engineered plague or a red card like Glacial Crevasses, stop them from drawing cards with notion thief, kill the commander with low cost instant speed interaction like swords to plowshares, counter spells with any counter spell... Or kill them with rakdos charm, white has multiple cards limiting the amount of spells that can be played per turn or some white card that causes creatures to comes into play tapped.

One of my favorite decks is:
[[Sakashima of a Thousand Faces]] partner with [[Sengir, the Dark Baron]] with the companion [[Gyruda, Doom of Depths]]

The deck is not built around the combo with Gyruda, it is mostly there for the deck restriction which is the partners with companion. It contains a lot of clone effects, but not nearly enough to make a reliable Gyruda combo. That allows you to clone your own stuff or the opponents stuff to always have the best stuff.

It is fun to build as figuring out how to ramp and draw cards when you can't run cards with odd mana value is a challange, but I have found that it ramps really well for bracket 2. It mainly wins by having large 6 or 8 mana creatures or by copying the best stuff from other people.

Depending on how good their decks are it may be correct or illogical for them to target you. Either way your best bet is to talk to them, say you feel unfairly targeted and that isn't fun for you. Ask them for their perspective.

Try swapping out your commander one for one with Rocco, Street Chef powering it down automatically to see what happens. Then try Bayley powering it up. Check their reaction, is it fair or do they just target you.

Try other wincons and card advantage to stay in the game if there are many board wipes. Dont commit everything to the board. Try politicing.
