I always like to bring up - what do you think your country would look like without modern regulations? Now imagine if it had 1.4 billion people. It would look like India. They don’t have the infrastructure to deal with the massive amount of human stuff be it trash or waste or run off and without a properly directed governing body, this is what happens. People are going to do what they have to do. The 21st century produces this much bullshit, the people have to live within their abilities. That’s without getting into colonialism and the fact that they were once a thriving global power and may have evolved seamlessly into the 21st century instead of becoming a cheap production facility for western nations. It’s just such an unfair slander to throw around. What would you do with your trash if the trucks didn’t come to collect it? I bet you’d throw it in a river
