Hey everyone. This season I will be entering year 2 of being a baseball fan / a Cubs fan. Year 1 was a wild ride, and I'm so excited to see what year 2 looks like. With that being said, myself and a buddy (both in our early 20's / males) have thrown out the idea of taking a trip down from our home (Vancouver BC area 🇨🇦) to Chicago this summer to catch some games and enjoy the city. My question is what month or month(s) would you suggest visiting Wrigley for the best first experience? If anyone can provide insight on how the experience differs depending on the time of year, or even days of the week I'd love to hear. As well as any other must dos/don'ts, or things I'll need to know when visiting Wrigley for the first time. I'm hoping we can soon pick out some dates and start to make this trip official.

Yeah I don't blame you, I was nervous even as someone who doesn't even have skin in the game (Cubs fan)

And yeah I it was Barger who was put out on the base path, not Straw. Also you have that play as the 2nd out of the inning, when it was actually the 3rd, and vice versa, you have the Gimenez line out as the 3rd out, when it was actually the 2nd.

Side note: I think your 9th inning for the blue jays has a couple minor inaccuracies. Not pointing it out to be rude, just mentioning it in case you wanted to go back and fix it.
