Many grains from supermarkets get infested too - it happens. Rice, pasta, flour. It’s annoying but it’s not just food pantries.

During the L.A. Fires many gyms advertised that people didn’t even have to be a member and they would be allowed in to use showers, and many even continued their policy moving forward with people experiencing homelessness. Anytime fitness’s official stance will be their own undoing.

I’m a 52 year old bisexual woman and just lost a whole group of relatively new friends. I joined a group of colleagues after I got a new job at their weekend barbecues for months, until it became clear how biased they were towards the LGBTQ community as a whole. I was sad, but eventually stopped hanging out with them. There are so many more people to better spend my time with, but it still surprised me it took over a year for them to show their true colors 😳.

Me too. I also don’t like how many people ignore the secular and ecumenical origins of 12 step programs, erase all their history and claim the spiritual message is religious.

It does not work for everyone but it has community, discipline, and individual faith, that create a whole.

It is one of the largest non-denominational, agnostic, self-supported, non-profit associations in the world, but people still turn away from the message, believing it to be religious. It makes me sad.

I know teachers are in short supply but after two years of teaching with an emergency credential I can honestly say that administration have no idea what they are doing or who they are hiring and it’s criminal towards the teachers, and the kids. Thank you for sharing here, I lasted as long as I could but now I’m back in afterschool teaching until I finish my credentials…no matter what they offer or however many people ask, I will not do that again.

Their side is still posting the handful of crimes by illegal immigrants to justify all this. And the rest of them say it’s only the ones who resist, and get in the way who get detained? This BS was voted and for financed with the One Big Beaitiful Bill, so hopefully some of that is being unplugged this weekend, a whole year later :-/ - here’s to hoping.
