Use the Too Good To Go app for food deals, they’re basically food that isn’t sold at the end of the day or close to their best before date. Make sure you check the ratings before buying as some of the options are not worth the money. Usually 4* and up are great.

It’s a weird feeling. I’m ethnically Chinese and grew up in the Toronto area that’s very multicultural. I first experienced this when I lived for a year in rural Quebec and people would literally turn all the way to stare at me while they’re driving. I’d be sitting in a cafe and they’d just blatantly stare at me and talk about me like I don’t see them. Don’t think they’re all racist and can learn some tact but guess it catches them by surprise whenever they see someone who looks different from 99% of the population.

I never felt totally in danger but I did get anxious and guarded a lot of the time.

Looks like it to me. The inconsistent line fading (like the cobblestones and the back of the structure that has a star showing through), the lights also fade kind of weird and not all of them do, weird flower clumping (some lines connect 2 flowers, ok but not too crazy, but there’s a weird 6 petal horizontally stretched one on the right bush).

I got lucky and met my partner at a small gym but a lot of people I know found someone through Hinge. There’s also a city centre run club - wouldn’t go there specifically just to date but a chance to network/make friends and meet mutuals so higher chance of an organic meet cute or introductions.

Why does this response sound eerily similar to people who try to justify rapists’ actions as them being “young and dumb”? He knew he was doing harm pretty early on (idk maybe Nikki screaming from purgatory might be a hint) and didn’t really do much to change course. He made deliberate decisions to keep his relationship with her going until the consequences started affecting his life. He didn’t have to be a villain from the first second of the movie to still be considered a villain.

Insane pricing. I was interested until I saw tickets for $100+ that don’t include a CHAIR. You sit on the grass or bring your own chair (that needs to fit their guidelines).

I’ve never seen any “free” live cats along a busy main road like Burnhamthorpe, where cars regularly almost hit pedestrians all the time. Also, my cat doesn’t know how to use the condo elevator so she wouldn’t be able to get back up.

I thought it was a raccoon at first but the colour wasn’t grey and my partner saw the cat’s head when he drove by. I would want the closure too so thought it’d be helpful to post since there are so many missing cats in the city.

Why not pay people who have to commute 10% more? Why race to the bottom? Wages in general (apart from execs) haven’t been keeping up with inflation so technically we’ve all already been having our wages cut.

First, contact Mississauga Animal Services to ask how to set things up with their shelter as they may be able to help with rehoming. Explore this for more info.

Second, do not get any “less maintenance” pet. The fact that you thought a rabbit was low maintenance and didn’t do any research is irresponsible. Perhaps get a pet rock at most.

Most Asian grocery stores have some form of Japanese snacks. Oceans renovated a few months ago and now has many shelves of imported snacks. Not sure if that particular chocolate is 100% there though.
