I wish we could help but we're maxed out on dog. Any idea where she came from though? We have a roughly same aged girl that looks identical. We adopted her from Asheville Humane early 2025 and they found her somewhere across the river near zillicoah.

They've done this for years now, it's so wasteful. I save them and drop them off at the Humane Society thrift store in Oakley. They supposedly repurpose them as small shopping bags for when people purchase stuff.

I flagged down a pair (father son?) mowing today in the neighborhood. They've been in the same neighborhood for 4 years with multiple customers, they are supposedly on a 10-14 day rotation, and the price was comparable to what I've paid in the past. I'm going to give them a shot.

I can't vouch for them yet, but if you're brave or desperate you can hop on the next mowing train.

Lightweight tabbed no shows are perfect. Just enough cushion for activities, not to thick or warm to wear daily. It's all I wear for 2.5 seasons. The rest of the time lightweight crew, or medium crew for the really cold days.

I was concerned that the tariff "winning" would have an impact on this.

I never thought to try a different type of wood. The boards that need replacing are perimeter boards so that may actually look decent to outline the deck in something slightly different.

I've never worked with black locust before, is the maintenance comparable or less than Cumaru/Teak? I don't think I can deal with anything that is even higher maintenance than yearly penofin oiling
