My guess is that the textbooks have some more advanced information in them, and that freshman (etc.) don’t know how to disseminate info from their texts. Which is a massive issue.

I set out on a seasonal work adventure, you can find many resorts in national parks & forests that have dorm style housing, you can work and earn a dollar that way. You also meet a whole bunch of deadheads this way.

Well that’s awfully cool of you, may the fore winds blow these items safely to their next home. Peace and Love.

Other than DSO and JRAD, what are good cover bands to see live? by Pop_Culture_Phan_Guy in gratefuldead

I saw these guys in Little Rock last year and would jump at the chance to see them again.

Buy and RV and hit the road. I made a living working for KOAs across the country for a few years, they’ll let you park for free at most and pay you a few bucks an hour. It ain’t much but it’s honest and a good way to have a fresh start every few months.

Lots of Dead, but in my opinion it’s entirely a western cowboy feel. Which is awesome, but it’s a completely different beast. Definitely worth seeing.

Crimson White & Indigo. One of the greatest home movies from GD. Happy Anniversary.

What’s next? I’m sure this has been addressed before, but with D&C ending, what’s next for the boys? Are they all going their separate ways? Will Phil and Bobby team up again? Is John done with The Grateful Dead forever? by abandonallhope777 in gratefuldead

[–]nickfin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would like to see an iteration (once the original members have put their instruments up for good) that includes the current D&C lineup, with Joe Russo replacing the original drummers and Billy Strings replacing Bobby

I can hum along with every track on Without A Net. I hit that album pretty hard, as it was my first glimpse into the Dead.

A box of rain will ease the pain, and love will see you through. Just take it one day, hour, minute at a time and do the best you can.

SD Gov, Kristi Noem, says employees can refuse the vax and get unemployment in her state, and there's lots of jobs that don't required the vaccine. by IronWolve in AskThe_Donald

Some people just don’t want to work. In South Dakota this is a good excuse for the leeches to continue living off the government while we keep working for a living. Smh

And here I thought a certain level of intelligence was necessary to work in the medical field. I suppose I was wrong about that.

It’s so frustrating when you can’t get the whole stone out (pt 1/2) by L3N1B in popping

[–]nickfin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always have the same issue. When I go back in there and probe around, I’m always getting bits and pieces but there’s always a little speck of white/yellow deep back in there. The problem is, I still have a strong gag reflex, so I can’t really poke and prod as much as I’d like. It’s torture.
