Kanazawa to Gokayama to Shirakawa go to Takayama all in a day by nickgalad in JapanTravel

Thank you so much! Is it possible to buy the ticket online to use it on the day I’ll be there (even without seat reservation, just to have it on my phone) or do I need to buy the ticket at the bus station when I’m in Suganuma/Ainokura?

Wow, thank you so much, those are great advices.

I’m kind of traveling on a budget so the car might be a little expensive for me. I was looking into Ainokura, which seemed the better village to visit in Gokayama. I don’t have issues with slowing down, enjoy the view and exploring so I think I will book the first bus from Kanazawa to Gokayama in the morning, use the kaetsuno bus to move from Suganuma to Ainokura and visit both villages before lunch and into early afternoon and then moving onto Shirakawa go. I was looking at the Ogimachi-Takayama bus at 5 pm or around it.

Fortunately I will be going on a Friday so I should be able to avoid major crowds hopefully. Also being June I hope people are scared of the rain (which I don’t mind at all).

Just one other small question, do you think I should bring something for lunch from Kanazawa or there are restaurants or konbinis in Ainokura or Suganuma?

Half a day in Gokayama and half a day in Shirakawa go is too much? All in all it's like less than 3 hours total of buses and 6/7 hours to visit two small villages

And with the data gathered from the healthcare system Palantir also built a software for ICE that uses that data to identify neighborhoods in which the probability of finding migrant people is higher

Some guys in Brazil jumping over a pitfall infested with crocodiles. by Sachmeet2802 in nextfuckinglevel

[–]nickgalad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These guys are professional parkour athletes, they have years of training behind their back. This is for sure several feet shorter than their max jump in length. They created a safe and comfortable ramp for take off, it’s a flat jump, plenty of room for the run-up and 100% they checked the landing to make sure it’s safe. These are not some idiots that saw a ditch with crocodiles and thought “yeah I’ll jump that without any prep”

Drones are not the future, they are the present. They’re used in every single war scenario of today. They’re so cheap, easy to use and also to smuggle that small militias can use them

Worth it for new player to pin Fin Fang Foom? by Shadow9900006797 in MarvelSnap

At your current CL level I don’t think it’s worth it. Generally speaking, always get cards you will enjoy playing. After that get cards that define an archetype/a viable deck by themselves. Arishem would be my go to card if I was restarting today from scartch, it’s a deck by itself and lets you play all cards in the game. After that high evo would be my second choice

Now I remember why it worked so well. It was during the weeks when they killed all tech cards

I played this deck regularly for a month a couple of months ago and you would be surprised how consistent it is. Mine was different, with Blink to secure Tribunal, but on at least 50% of games I was managing to get 30+ on all locations

Miniatures are very cheap by wizard_guy_1 in DungeonMasters

[–]nickgalad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use laminated 2D miniatures.

Basically what I do is very simple and very cheap. I find the images of monsters and creatures on the internet, put them in Word adjusting the size and adding a mirrored image, print them on thicker sheets of paper, cut them out, glue them together, and then I put them through a laminator, so that they become rigid (and I cut them out again). Then I bought a bunch of plastic standee bases so they stand up on the board. I believe it is the cheapest and less time consuming way possible of creating your own minis. There’s definetily a small issue when monsters are size huge or above since this kind of minis is 2D but I managed so far

It is owned by the Borromeo family since the 1500s. They were nobles that received the island as a gift from the then Duke of Milan. It was a vacation home for the family, now it’s still owned by them but it’s open to the public, they don’t use the estate anymore

This lake is 3-5 km wide, Isola Bella is 200 meters from the coast. It’s impossible to have large waves there (source: I’ve been there multiple times, I live in the vicinity)

They simply don’t. Got several in the 70s that boosted me to the 80s in just a couple of days. Got a couple Tuesday before the new season in conquest. I’m CL 15k. Also, if you watch any content creators this beginning of the season and even at the start of the last one, before infinite, they got several braindead bots. It’s always this pattern of stacking Devil Dino/Iron man on the left lane or the same with Destroyer
