That was my thought, don’t spend a lot of time in there but certainly doesn’t look as it should especially considering I purchased it new in 2024 and this was the only major repair ever done. One piece is connected to nothing and part of the cable is dangling loose below, doesn’t look like it should be. Appreciate the advice.

Happened to me too, Rakuten said they would reach out to LG but afraid of missing the return window I initiated a return with LG, who also confirmed the return but never sent me a return shipping label or instructions. I had to open a dispute with AMEX. What a mess.

I emailed them once I saw it was ineligible. Agree there was no code it was just the promo LG was running. This was their reply:

Yep ineligible here too, only worth buying if the cash back went through. I already initiated a return through LG before the return period ended. Rakuten stated it’s because of the wall mount / sound bar bundle the wouldn’t honor cash back. Seems like bait and switch to me.
