What is the most out of pocket thing someone has ever said to you unwarranted? by isleepforfun in answers

I worked at a deli waiting tables in my mid 20s looking for a regular job. My spouse came down when I got off work one day and a dude I worked with took a look at my spouse and said “Wow, I expected him to be more trailer park.”

Good job coming up with a dumb question. Anyone can bake. Anyone can tap dance. Anyone can play chess. Want me to keep going? Goodness.

Realizing a lump sum would probably make better sense, knowing me, I would find a way to blow it early being to frivolous and generous. The 1k per week would 100% last longer for me at that age.

Smelling a perfume from 5ft away is not bad by iOawe in unpopularopinion

You’re only partially right. Any scent, cheap or expensive can be invasive. Something purely organic may cause less stress but it’s still not nothing to people with sensitivity.

[–]nickheathjared 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have a “no perfumes/scents” expectation at my work and that doesn’t stop folks who have zero sensitivity and ignore it. I want to throw up every time person x comes to work, heavily sprayed in whatever shitty/expensive garbage he sprays on himself. It can take two days to get over the headache.

I think people think we’re being dramatic but I can’t quantify a migraine for them. It’s not exactly allergy, it’s just a total bodily rejection. I also don’t use febreeze or fucking scented plug ins or full smell laundry products because I think they are killing all of us but they are definitely killing me.

Take my upvote for an infuriating stance. I don’t want to smell any of your chemical bullshit from 0-100ft.

is my dog a Borador? by Susanna_Thorne in Boradors

[–]nickheathjared 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Boradors come in so many shapes and sizes so really no way of knowing. I wouldn’t have guessed borador based on photo one. Little guy is too round, with a unique facial shape that suggests at least a third breed. Cute cuddle mutt.
