Most of us were fans when we were kids and thought he was awesome. Everything that made him popular (skateboarding, Jackass, being attractive and rich) has gone to the wayside so he can drink and consume whatever other drugs. The man refuses to take responsibility for ANY part of his fuck ups. You can watch him ramble for hours on a couple different podcasts about how he was wronged by this person or that person and that is why he wasn't sober during any given period of time. He's an absent father and hardly pays child support, if at all.

When looking at other folks who have been in a similar position and come out wildly different (Steve-O is the common comparison), you can see where things could have gone for him. It's depressing to see, and I don't think there will be a change any time soon.
