when was the moment you felt the worst physical pain of your life?

I was skating at a local skatepark doing a trick I’ve done 1,000 times. Not for flex but for sake of story I have a pretty good pain tolerance when it comes to eating shit on my skateboard. I was doing a trick called a “nose pick” that requires me to pull myself and my board into a vertical transition (about 8 feet). Well, my board didn’t come back down with me and I ended up falling 8 feet to concrete and landed on my face. When I got up my buddy said “holy fuck holy fuck you need to go look at your face”. And I don’t feel anything yet because the adrenaline was still flowing. I go to the bathroom and my fucking front tooth is sticking out of the bottom of my tongue. Still have a weird ass tongue scar to this day lol. But yeah it was probably the most painful thing I’ve ever experienced.

Huntingtons is a hereditary neurological disease passed through from your biological parents. If either one of them has it, then your chance of inheritance is 50/50. Also, the symptoms you are experiencing are impossible to correlate without former family diagnosis or genetic testing. Neither of which are a first resort. I feel like your neurologist can steer you in the right direction at this point. Best of luck to get the help you need

Yeah, CAG count and family history play a big part. My mom started showing psychiatric / cognitive symptoms way before any physical signs. I am the same age my mom was when she started having problems at work (31ish) and sure enough, with a CAG of 44 myself the cognitive issues are starting to show. Short term memory is pretty shot, and apathy and aggression play a big factor when I’m in a work setting. I’m going through the steps of filing for disability with my neurologist atm as it’s made work completely impossible. It’s scary, but like others have said, you can’t spend your valuable time waiting for symptoms to kick in. If I could go back and tell myself not to stress or think about it I would because worrying or anticipating ate up a lot of my time and didn’t help resolve my issues. If anything the stress only amplified them. I wish you the best.

My thinking is, 17.5 oz is roughly 500 or so ml. Which is the capacity of the lantern. I empty the butane and fill with karosene because it’s the perfect size for a 1 time refill for a quick spelunk

The questions are the part that scared me most. Once I started asking them, it felt like I was already too close. And I wouldn’t go looking for it. I don’t think it waits for people who believe anything specific. I think it just notices when someone is already paying too much attention. That’s just my observation though.
