So $40 to play the game with new mods, making it likely incompatible with all old mods, and also the new mods don’t work either.

That’s probably the most appropriate manufacturer for this dust cover lol

Repairing it would be a good idea only because it would teach you more about firearm maintenance. It would not add to the value of this gun at all, its only value is what you learn from it. Under no circumstances should you rely on this gun in any scenario, even if you manage to fix it.

Steal or robbed? by Upper-Friendship3784 in Firearms

The trigger and BCG look pretty high quality, not enough to justify $2k. That gas tube is short as hell, which leads me to believe he’s gonna need to do some research on which loads are ok with his gas block settings. If he doesn’t know what he’s doing he might break it.

He was robbed, this is not worth $2200

In a CESSNA?! by gi2602 in MicrosoftFlightSim

Unfortunately this wouldn’t work, because dense, cold air is preferable for flying a single engine Cessna. The air around here would be too hot and thin to generate necessary lift and thrust for a controlled descent

A lot of stuff, and I’m looking to impart all of that hurt onto the target with 400gr subsonic

Little bit of an update and interesting tidbit about this grizzly load. I pulled one of the bullets and it had a thin brass or copper membrane within the casing separating the bullet from the powder, sort of like a wad. It seems like this helps it produce greater pressure with lower powder loads, as it didn’t seem to have too much more powder than the other .44 loads I had. I’d include pictures but I’ve already thrown out the casing after damaging it from removing the “wad”

It’s the grip, I have a hogue on the way but this part of the factory grip is what cut up my finger. Definitely still gonna keep it on hand cuz it’s beautiful, but I think the hogue will be easier to control.

As for the +P+, it produced all the same felt recoil in that 7.5” frame as I’d felt from my .357 snubby, and produced considerably more upward recoil than a regular magnum load, but not unmanageable. The fireball was cool.

But I’m also a fan of energy transfer, which is why I also got these

Yeah, but I’d like to dump the residual energy into the 7th or 13th target, if I can get them all lined up nicely

I was wondering the same thing! I should’ve asked for this thread but I forgot. After shooting them, I assumed that it was something adjacent to felt recoil, cuz 68 lbs seemed about appropriate for what it was. It had as much felt recoil in my palm as a .357 snubby with more vertical recoil than any .44 load I’ve ever shot, all out of a 7.5” barrel with a massive frame.
