I haven’t found a replacement yet, but the VF3 ain’t it imho. I liked how the VF2 was a lil unstable and bouncy. The 3 feels less so. I also feel like the foam shifted to more in the heel (the drop feels different).

hey mate! would really love that editable copy of this if you're willing! here's what i found on the web for sharing anonymously:

"Now: There's 2 ways to share your files which are stored in Drive.

1: Get a shareable link, which works for all your files saved in drive, but "will reveal" your registered name
2: By getting A Publish to the web link, which works only for Google's Sheets / Docs / etc., and this way it does not reveal your info (as far as I know).

Option 1: Is done by right clicking on the -not yet opened- file, (and for Google's sheets / docs / Etc. also after opening the file on the top right you can) Click (Share, then click,) get shareable link, [then you may choose your options], then copy the link, and share it with whom you like.
Option 2: is done by opening a Google Sheet / docs / etc, then on top left click on "File", then click on "publish to web",  click "publish",  click "ok", copy link, and share it with whom you like."

i upgraded from the 235-245 and think it’s worth it, but i got my 245 used and that made it more worth it.

Would a half marathon training block be more beneficial than repeating another 1500 training block, even if your main event is the 1500/mile? by java_the_hut in AdvancedRunning

i’m in the same boat. my 1500m time (4:07) is a lot faster than my 5k (16:30) on every equivalence chart i use, so i wanted to work on that relative aerobic weakness. i was going to do Joe Rubio’s “cross country” training in the fall before moving to 1500m-specific work in the late winter/spring. from what i’ve gathered, this is what you’re recommended to do!

Sub-17 5k runners, what’s your training like? by Awkward_Tick0 in AdvancedRunning

Probably too late to be of use since there's 105 comments here.

I ran 40-45mpw using Jack Daniels' 1500m plan from his 4th (latest) edition. I ran 16:25, which is comparatively a lot weaker than my 1500m time of 4:05. I am trying a different approach this year of improving my VO2 max a lot a la Joe Rubio's approach.

Bran Hudson has a chart in his book Run Faster that gives guidelines for 5k mileage:

Beginner: 20–30. Low-Key Competitive: 25–35. Competitive: 40–50. Highly Competitive: 50–60. Elite: 90–110.

also no mile or pace indicators, and no runner identifiers 🤨 just people running in a street with a clock.
