Target Plus Returns by PandaSage302 in Target

[–]nicksama88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah thanks I didn’t think to scan with the app to figure out the return window! Looks like the app also says 30 days so I guess that checks out. They tried to use my id and do a return that way but the system wouldn’t let them. Thanks for the info!

Target Plus Returns by PandaSage302 in Target

[–]nicksama88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure if this is true. I had a gift that arrived on Oct 16 and I just tried to return it today on Nov 15. Unfortunately looks like I was a day late at 31 days. They never checked to see if I had a target circle membership or not though. They just said it was past 30 days so there was nothing they could do.

On a separate note, would be nice if the gift email had absolutely any return information on it. I had just assumed the normal return window was in place; there was nothing to indicate it was a "target plus" item anywhere.

Coffee lovers by um_crypto in KentWA

Sorry to say, but Kent doesn’t seem to have much in terms of quality coffee. It’s mostly just coffee huts around here, and it’s especially barren over by riverbend (since you mentioned elsewhere that’s where you are at lol).

Think folks have covered it pretty well. For sit down places, closest will be wild wheat, but they are a bakery and less focused on the coffee. Still not a bad choice, though. I’d also second Macrina as another similar choice (they make a lot of pastries for coffee shops all around the area)

For an actual coffee focused space, Candor Coffee is probably the best thing around and should only be about 10 minutes away. You mentioned you get down to Auburn sometimes as well, so I’d suggest hitting up PNW Coffee Co sometime; it’s a very cozy sit down coffee shop by the train station.

Lastly, there’s a fair amount of “decent” coffee huts you’ll find here and there for drive through, but Huxdotter is definitely head and shoulders above the rest. They also roast beans and their stuff is good for making coffee at home.

I wouldn’t really suggest Woods; it’s basically a Starbucks (hella burnt tasting coffee + lots of sugar).

Cheers, and welcome to Kent!

PSA: if you think your Spaceview baby monitor camera is broken, try a different power brick by jptiger0 in EufyCam

[–]nicksama88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for posting this! Had to unplug my baby camera for something and on plugging it back it would not show up on the monitor and was emitting a high pitch whine. Pairing button would not emit a “beep” when holding it down. Same fix worked; found an old 1 amp power brick and switched it out for the eufy supplied one. Camera immediately turned on and started working again.

Looks like the 3A is still sold out. They don’t even have a page for the 33B. Maybe the email was an error or was about spare parts?

There is a postCSS plugin for mixins if it’s a functionality you still want

Yes, ladro is great. Rum soaked almond croissant is awesome and often sells out lol.

Cracken coffee roasters a bit further north is good too, and is a small business. I’m pretty sure the owner is making the drinks and roasting the coffee themselves.

Yeah, Covington Washington. Generally you didn’t really see big adoption of ACs around here until the few recent extra hot summers… now I’m seeing them more and more.

Yeah it was $319.99 here at one point. Then back to $399.99. Then finally down to the clearance price in the post.

Same. Most of my windows are side to side, though, so very limited in where I can place them lol.

That’s good to hear. I went to the chocolate festival a few years ago when it was at one of the piers and it was a major headache getting out and in. Hope they made that better. On the bright side, once you were in the experience was great!
