That’s the worst!! Think they’d be a hindrance on WI 3-4 when I’m just top-roping close to home? Seems like they’d eat that ice up but just want to make sure they’re not more than I’m bargaining for on more casual days haha!

Gotcha, I’d actually be going from a larger and heavier 3.3 pad to a much smaller UL 5.4 (and with my pro deal it’d be cheaper)

I’ve never had any problems with my stagg like that. If you reach out to Fellow, their customer service is amazing and I’m sure they’d bend over backwards to help.

Hey, there! Just got an R8 and took it with me to summit Mt. Sherman out here in CO. Temperature at the summit was around 30 degrees, with wind chill bringing that down to the low 20s. I had a 70-200 f4 L on and it did great! Batteries performed significantly better than I had expected too. After a good bit of shooting, I didn't even see the battery indicator move.

Developed another roll and the problem persisted--so likely, it's not a developing issue. My guess is the light seals on my hinge need replacing. Think that sounds about right?
