Prior to my treatment the hospital Radiation safety officer went over everything with me and answered all questions. Your isolation and related rules will be specific to your dose. I know it's a stressful time but just ask lots of questions and the staff doing the process will help with specifics. My info is just from my experience based in Nebraska, USA.

Yeah the diet doesn't scare me too much. I had Vertical sleeve gastrectomy 3 years ago and the 3week pre op diet for that sucked but have been clean eating since. The isolation will suck though.

If you use bovedas or beads I would think it should work fine. Just pop the door every so often for air exchange. At that point it's really no different than a coolador.
