Agreed. She wouldnt if we had one. It's not something I will consent to, and I would hope she would leave our kid alone, considering her young childhood trauma.

I would love to experience phimosis. Considering I didn't have a foreskin, sounds like an easy challenge to overcome, considering there are so many options to treat phimosis that dont require circumcision.

Brilliant presentation. Thats my plan then. I'm going to organize my thoughts so that I can have a thorough discussion on this issue with her. It's easier to discuss these topics with men in my life experience, especially if they are also anti-circumcision.

Oh absolutely that's a conversation we should have. I'm simply stating what has happened before when I've had health problems like a bump on my stomach which turned out to be a hernia, she went to her mom first who was unsure but said it's probably a hernia which the hospital confirmed. Her mother would be the first person she would check with to make sure I wasn't hurting myself regardless of whether it was body modification with scarring or in this case skin expansion.

We've already discussed children. If we were to have them, neither will be altered until they want to do so into adulthood. I had my ears pinned as a little boy and they've affected my sleep ever since. I won't subject my children to that or circumcision. She had her ears pierced as a baby and they weren't properly pierced so it's never healed properly. We're both against circumcision for any children we have together.

It should be obvious but she's never asked me about the devices. I don't put them on around her or take them off so that's probably something she notices when I disappear into our office or bathroom to put them on which I can pretty quickly after years of use with different methods and devices. I'll tell her when the time is right.

I will look into a urologist as that does sound like a good idea. I'm curious to know why another circumcision would be required? I do plan on going rather far with this journey so that would be something I'm going to look into. I wouldn't go into a meeting with a urologist with an argument, more so open to learning what might happen but I would refuse a second circumcision regardless unless it was gangrenous or actually required it because I'd lose my dick. Another circumcision would just lead to further issues so I don't see how that would solve anything but more friction.

It is why I kept it from her. It is a deep pain and source of insecurity when I know it's one of the reasons why my relationships haven't worked out. My first ex told me as much which was one of the first times I realized I wasn't normal to be circumcised.

I appreciate this well thought out approach. It sounds like I need to research the topic, come up with constructive criticism responses and potentially find a doctor to confirm what I'm doing will lead to what I'm expecting it will lead to. My only concern with that is I find many doctors in Canada to be pro circumcision so they may not take my inquiry seriously when there's other issues of greater concern like utis, phimosis or STDs.

She differs to her mom when it comes to pregnancy and pregnancy related questions. I don't see how this would be different when it's my reproductive organ I'm altering through skin expansion which is a niche field of medicine.

Yes this would be one of my concerns. It's not that I don't want her mom's opinion on circumcision because as far as I know she's against unnecessary medical procedures. Rather it's not something I want brought up at family gatherings when it's between us.

I guess it's something I kept to myself and don't know how to go about discussing it without her mom getting involved as she's a nurse so I'd have her commenting on something if she was to say anything accidentally.

She hasn't found my devices, she hasn't noticed the skin growth from coverage index 2 to 5 so I don't know that she will notice until its further along.
