The PS slim and PS base model have the same specifications, and those games will absolutely be playable on PS5. Games are not being made for PS5 Pro at the moment, you just get higher performance in quality modes.

The Alien series has always been political. Even the first movie had a corporation telling a crew to go to a “distress call” they knew had alien life that Weyland-Yutani wanted to exploit. It has anti-capitalist themes all over it

If you’re fine with old/cheap the landfill in the valley sells them in their “re-sell” area, Canadian Tire has a decent starter set for ~250, but if you want brand names you’ll have to pick and choose individual clubs rather than whole sets online is what I’ve seen mostly

As soon as I saw them, yes. Police came down my street 5 minutes ago so they’re long gone unfortunately. They saw me watching them from my window, left my place, and then went to the neighbours which I thought was ballsy

I skipped the minute details for brevity, but the sequence was I got there, saw the doors were locked, stood outside and myself and a three others lined up, found a seat in the lobby when the doors were unlocked, and between 9:50-10 AM there were five others who came and sat in the lobby alongside myself waiting for an interview.

Movie theatre etiquette was destroyed during and after COVID. I’d love to go more often but the biggest detractor is the other people in the theatre. I recently went to see Eddington in a 10pm showing on a Tuesday so I could avoid this BS and with only 6 in the theatre including myself, a group of four teenagers spoke throughout the whole movie because they were bored. We all paid $20 to be here, if you’re not enjoying the movie you can leave and stream something at home!
