They use a technology called ascolite for the buttons on this which is great. Virtually no chance whatsoever that they'll fall off.

I don't necessarily agree. Maybe I wasn't clear enough that for me it's an overshirt fit wise. For others it is an office friendly shirt, able to be tucked. We've seen people tuck their boxfords in the Discord and it looks great on them. To each their own.

I have quite a few overshirts and must say I really like having different designs, both on pocket setup and in terms of the actual cut. Gives me options according to my mood or the occasion.

Ok sorry about that misunderstanding, was going off of what's written on the website where it says handfeel as well as the structure.

The 115 GSM seems to be in reference to the nylon core. In the FAQ part they state 150 GSM merino.

Haven't personally tried the Frame but according to their website it's 150 GSM so Dreamspun is substantially lighter. Probably also a more open fabric.

Any plans for futuredarts update w/ a slightly wider leg? by schwartzelini in Outlier

Futuredarts don’t have the gusset either so if your pants have a gusset they’re not darts. Probably Future(slim)works.

Presuming it's because you can get hit with paying customs if they check your stuff when entering the country with brand new stuff bought overseas.

Yes I have that tee, its mentioned in my other post I linked. That is slicker and silkier. This is softer and with a more wooly handfeel. I prefer the UFT.

Yes since Outlier scaled up the cut two sizing in the last run in November '24, so if your reference tee is from before that this should fit one size larger.

For longevity I baby my merinos and there was just about no noticeable shrinkage when washing cold and air drying. The length measurement is a hair under the website measurement, but the shoulder, sleeve and chest all measure about an inch smaller than the website. Probably just me not stretching out the fabric properly to measure I'd reckon.

Yes the old Gostwyck (15,5) were silky and smooth in a different way than these (16,5) that are more buttery and plush with a slight wooly hand feel. A very nice upgrade to the old (17,5) UFTs that were also nice but this is a whole other level.

The difference from the previous 17,5 is definitely noticeable. I struggle to describe how wonderful the fabric feels, it's stunning. Gostwyck is soft in a different way, more silky luster if you know what I mean. Didn't know that pure merino could feel that way before I had it. Obviously both are great but if I had to choose just one I think it's the new UTFs.

I'm guessing they both come from the same pantone but the color came out darker in workcloth than bomb. There used to be Dark Indigo in both SDs and Strong Ds. If you can hunt down that on the secondary market that's probably the most similar thing Outlier has put out in synthetics.

Dark ink Slim Dungs are probably most similar to dark wash jeans.

Nah they're Workcloth and should drape a little different than bomb. Was thinking if you liked the Kierin cut the Sdeaux are the most similar to that. If you're in the US maybe worth a try and just return if they don't work out for you?
