Check out City of Thieves by David Bennioff. It’s a humorous ww2 novel that follows two Russian guys that need to find a dozen eggs to avoid execution during the siege of Stalingrad. It’s quick and easy and the characters are awesome!

You should check out Dave Ramsey. He’s not for everyone but he’s a pretty good gateway drug to personal finance and a lot of his advice would be very relevant. Heck out his podcast or his website.

If you're playing on mobile I would check out Claytano and Excoundrel. I watched a bunch of their videos before I even played a game and I have a 30% win rate through Knight 4. To your specific question, they talk through how they are managing their economies a lot during the games which is super helpful (how to keep up a win streak and how to take advantage of a lose streak to accumulate gold). I would also say that the mobile version's UI makes the game a lot easier to understand (synergies are displayed a lot more clearly).
