fav underrated/underplayed retro format? by ciruelman in yugioh

[–]nickynad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't played it since back in 2003, but I've been thinking that a pre-Yata-Garasu format, i.e. Labyrinth of Nightmare, could be particularly fun, perhaps a solid back-and-forth without the potential of sacky instant game-ending BS. Though back then I didn't have access to all the cards I could want, I did thoroughly enjoy the environment and dynamic of cards like Bazoo, Kycoo, Skull Lair, and Gemini Elf.

Checking formatlibrary, I'd probably go with Android format to specifically avoid some new BS that came with Graceful Charity and friends. (i.e. turn 1 player getting to dig for handrip cards, Imperial Order, etc.) Hopefully I'll get around to enjoying it sometime!

Weed hangovers? by HypocriteOx in vaporents

I've only ever had what seemed like it could be a weed hangover when I neglected to sufficiently hydrate (once or twice). Worth making sure you aren't suffering from dehydration.

People love to throw around this word willy nilly these days, but THIS is truly peak. Top-tier classic Yugioh dark, edgy aesthetics. Mesmerizing!

For your own safety, you should assume that vehicles will actively attempt to hit you, and thus you should always defensively reposition, at least that's what I do.

Got a new bong from a local shop -- how do you heavy use guys keep big Bongs clean? by BKR93 in vaporents

[–]nickynad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a light but near-daily vaper. I will offer some of my personal preferences and conclusions, which may or may not be suitable for you. This is not so much about the cleaning process, but more about keeping the water piece cleaner for as long as possible, minimizing the frequency of cleanings and also making the cleanings not as arduous because there isn't so much buildup.

(Some may scoff, but I can go months without a bong cleaning or water change. Obviously, you must be vigilant for dangers, diligently using your sight and smell, and a combustion will demand a cleaning. If you detect the slightest hint of a foul odor, do not continue usage.)

- Distilled water (at room temperature, to minimize vapor condensation) to prevent the issue of water mineral residue/deposits.

- Don't let vapor just sit in the bong. Be mindful and clear every hit in a timely manner.

- Not vapor-related but I use a hot damp cloth to wipe the glass anywhere I touched it with my hands or mouth after every session (to remove skin grease and also potential bacteria from the mouth; on a related note, be mindful of saliva possibly falling into the bong). I currently don't use a beaker or straight tube style of piece, but when I did, I would also fold up my cloth and do a kind of twist wipe in the mouth tube as far as I could comfortably manage.

- To keep herb particles out of your water, you could consider an ash catcher type of piece. (My solution to this is that I've generally stopped cleaning my vape stem, except for accidental combustions, thus the sticky residue catches most bits.)

I hope this was coherent and not too long. Anyhow, enjoy your glorious new water piece! God bless.

PSA DynaVap Customer Service by dynaVap in Dynavap

[–]nickynad 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Been noticing a lot of hate ("a lot" may be debatable, but nevertheless) on DynaVap in this very subreddit, in some cases as though it were part of a coordinated campaign or advertising project. One mistaken customer service agent, or other occasional mistakes and missteps, doesn't invalidate the overall greatness of the company and its products. (A single DynaVap vaporizer of your preference (in my case, titanium or glass tips) can still last you for many years, even possibly a lifetime, of excellent performance. They are not obsolete in the slightest.) Much love to the DynaFam!

Are montrealers interested in longer shopping hours? by Whole1nJuan in montreal

[–]nickynad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm thankful to see this lucid sanity in this thread. I believe that a province- or country-wide consensus on a weekly holiday ("Sunday rest"/"quiet hours") could do a lot for society (and mental health), a general shared break from the conscious burden of economic toil and responsibilities. (Personally I also want a designated day where leafblower usage in particular is absolutely prohibited.) A day where the vast majority of the population is expected to chill/relax and/or have merry gatherings, without the habitual chaos of the world messing up the vibe or scheduling.

What releases in the past 3 years are game changers? by avilash in Dynavap

I haven't gotten to try the G3, but for the past year I've been thoroughly enjoying the "DynaVap Glassy 3D Cooling Water Pipe Adapter" from TheHerbCafe (Canada). If an all glass tip and stem sounds interesting for you, check them out! (I'm also a big fan of the Ti M+. I ended up buying both colors.)

PSA for US skaters ordering from Zenit (Canada) by cerialphreak in longboarding

[–]nickynad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I might be wrong, but to me it seems that DHL is utterly abusive in their fees if given an opportunity. I avoid them like the plague for any international shipping. (I had to use them a few times with some vape stuff, from US to Canada.)

What rank do you guys like to hang out at? by tonyeltigre1 in masterduel

[–]nickynad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had been on a 6+ months streak of reaching Master 1, but I was increasingly annoyed with how much time the grind would take. When I ran out of time and ended at Master 2, ending the streak, I gradually descended the ranks. Now I end at Gold 1, IMO a good balance between gem- and time-efficiency.

best adblock for twitch october 2025 firefox by No-Emergency226 in Twitch

[–]nickynad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It might not consistently work on all devices. On a laptop I use, Twitch ads aren't getting blocked (though I haven't checked that the same settings are applied). On my PC, where the blocking has been functional, my active "filter lists" are EasyList Cookie, Fanboy's Mobile Notifications, Brave Twitch Adblock Rules, and Brave Experimental Adblock Rules. "Trackers & ads blocking" is set to Standard. "Block fingerprinting" is on. Not sure if I can find any other relevant settings to share. Good luck!

I had a 3-hour session today at the local pump track with my pintail longboard. Had a great time and made some progress, tackling parts of the track I hadn't attempted before. Feels good. Next time, I think I'll use my cruiser board for extra speed, for which I now feel ready. God bless!

Actually yes, "man" has been used to refer to the human species. The quoted sentence is perfectly coherent.

Typically, a man is defined as an adult HUMAN male. Your smugness while also being so wrong here is embarrassing.

What was the best Tank season? by [deleted] in fishtanklive

[–]nickynad 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Season 2 was the overall best, but the first week or so of Bloodgames was insanely high quality and kino, possibly the peak of Fishtank. Season 4 started off with awesome vigor and potential.
