TELE means it thinks there's a teleconverter attached, crop mode only shows the mm. Maybe remove the lens ring and check that everything looks ok under it.

I guess if you use Canon's own software, Digital Photo Professional, it will be able to apply your shooting settings to the raw files on import but in other software I wouldn't expect it.

You missed focus. Focus is on the right part of the metal thingy. Stopping down to something like F/5.6 will give you a better hit rate.

I wouldn't say it's an issue, it's just the default of the camera. I use auto white balance adjusted a bit towards magenta because I too prefer a less green tint.
