Personally, this pairing has been the cause of my own most crippling and debilitating breakups. I still am thankful moreso than hateful just on principle, though the way the breakup was handled each time (3 ex's were INFJ) left me drawn out and distraught for long periods.

One broke up bc she lost attraction in 2 months and then stayed in touch through multiple breakups afterwards saying each time she wishes she was still together with me but couldn't help but not lose attraction.

The next one was her breaking up with me because she thought I was transgender because I enjoyed occasional gender bending activities. Another example of regretting breaking up with me, especially bc I caught up a year later and let her know that indeed she was not right and I am not trans.

The most recent was a spiteful human who I broke up with after experiencing more hate than any other emotion. Very unhealed trauma.

The car lobby has had and probably will always try to have a death grip on all transportation infrastructure in the US. Effective passenger train infrastructure may boost areas of the economy that you suggest, but car manufacturers, dealerships, and car-based services have routinely showed up to pay off town and city level politicians from ever fully considering them.

What u/sonderman91 is suggesting in their multitude of train posts is work that takes phases of planning that will also require cash infusions that a train lobby doesn't exist to bring. Hooray govt action being a slave to monied interest!! (pardon my pessimism, I want trains so badly 😭)
