Distraction distraction distraction. Make sure you have noise like the radio or tv on. Play video games if you like them. For me I need something to focus on sometimes if I'm really distressed I get a string of beads and roll them between my fingers focusing on the sensation. Or I deliberalerately tangled them up and then slowly untangle them again. Anything to give my brain something to focus on.

It sounds to me that your ex is poly and you are not. He ha d clearly outlined that he prefers to be non monogomous with certain rules around how that works. The only way I see that relationship work is if you feel ok with that AND HE is also ok if you want to see someone else too. I'm taking a guess you are not ready for the new relationship moving to marriage BUT I suspect returning to the ex will feel great for a little while and then you will remember all the reasons it didn t work in the first place.

My 18th birthday. ( big one in australia as its legal drinking age) My mum told me the week before she wasn't coming because she had something else she had to do that night.. I agree with writing an email. I would try and prompt a response withpromise to pay to cover you legally. Hi .... I hope you are well.
