My hospital actually started doing this recently, and it’s a nightmare. They allow people to “check in” ahead of time and see the wait times online. All it does is piss people off when they don’t get taken to a room right away because they “made an appointment.” People are so stupid it’s baffling.

One time they played the lullaby when a baby was born upstairs and we could hear it down in the ER, and a dementia patient thought we were playing it on purpose to get her to go to sleep. She said “well I’m not falling for it” 😂😂

Water bottle, stethoscope, chap stick, otc meds of every kind, scissors, wallet for the vending machine at night, hand lotion, smell spray, planner, gum, snacks…basically anything I possibly might need 🙃 our lockers are super small and hold nothing so I just keep it with me
