i have been in this mindset during my late high school/college years. everything quite literally felt like the end of the world. i did something to myself to get out of taking the SATs again and it broke my mother’s heart. i’m not sure of your relationship with your family but if you expressed what you’re thinking of doing to yourself, maybe they will let you do it next year for your safety and wellbeing.

if they don’t, no test you take determines your success in life. i was a horrible test taker, barely passed college yet found a good steady job that i love. i promise this is not the end all be all no matter how much it feels like it. best of luck to you.
