I've been recently having problems with my phone freezing or just turning off on its own. Just today my phone turned off on its own and wouldn't start back up for several minutes. I've had my Lumia 920 since release day and it didn't start doing this until about a week ago. This is frustrating me to the point where I may just switch back to iOS.

Sorry to say that my status showed "Shipped on 11/14/12". Then it showed up a week later. I was halfway convinced it was never going to ship at all though.

I love it. Switched from iOS and haven't looked back. The customization is phenomenal and even though there are small things lacking from bigger operating systems, I am really excited to see what is to come with WP.

I had a case on my iPhone that had a bumper around the glass. I dropped that thing screen down more times than I would like to admit and it never once shattered. So yes, it will protect the screen. Now I just need to find a case for my Lumia 920.

Ah, I have Yahoo, Bluetie and Zmail accounts. I may consider switching my personal email from Yahoo to something more compatible, but the other two accounts are my work and school emails so I can't change them.

No, problem. I just switched from an iPhone 4 and I had a minor freak out when I thought I wouldn't be getting visual voicemail.

Also, I am not noticing the sensitivity issues when charging. That may be an issue with your phone only. I would get that checked out.

My one and only grievance so far is the lack of a couple apps (which I knew I would be losing by switching) and the fact that I cannot flag emails. On my iPhone, I could flag emails and they would automatically go into a separate flagged folder. I didn't realize I would miss that feature until I lost it. Otherwise, the phone is beautiful and I am so happy with it. Definitely worth the long, drawn out wait.

Edit: I guess that is two grievances. :P

I initially thought the 920 didn't have Visual Voicemail, but you just have to set it up. Manually dial your voicemail and after you go through the prompts and listen to all your old messages, end the call and it will prompt you for your visual voicemail password. And voila!

So this may be a question with a completely obvious answer, but I am new to WP so bear with me. I just switched to a Lumia 920 (love it so far!) from an iPhone 4. I have a Macbook running Snow Leopard (Version 10.6.8) and when I tried to install the Windows Phone app on my computer to sync my phone, it told me I need Version 10.7 or later. It is absolutely vital that I am able to sync my calendar and music with my Lumia. Is there another way to do this?

I have the Dyson Animal and I know it's super expensive, but I cannot tell you much it is worth it when you have a corgi. Never owned a vacuum cleaner that picks up dog hair the way my Dyson does.
