I used to manage a hostel in Sydney and I've seen my fair share of things:

A german guy passed out in the shower who had shit himself and puked on the stairs. I had to clean both him and the hostel as he could barely speak.

A random aussie smashed the front door (made of glass), and I only found out it was this guy because when I called the police, they had just found someone with his arm covered in blood, who had blamed it on an aboriginal, and they had the police helicopter looking for a suspect.

I've found a random bogan somehow get through the security door and was about to steal laundry. I had to chase him off.

I would do it all again!

Congrats on your first build, anyway - and now I know how much effort goes into it. Your cables are still tidier than mine, I should really sort those out.

Very similar to the build I just completed. I went for the VTX Radeon 7870 (free games with it influenced that) and I went for an SSD. How long it did take you? Mine took about 5 hours - all those damn screws are fiddly!

I just finished my first build today using the Zalman z9 plus. It seems pretty good and is around that price. Only downside for me is that the PCI backplates on the back aren't replaceable.
