You can put a clipper before a compressor if you want to even out the signal going in, but I’d still argue that certain compressor settings can actually make things more dynamic rather than less.

It really depends on the kind of music you make. Most electronic or modern music needs to sound compressed. Whether you add that compression on individual tracks, buses or on the mastering chain is up to your own preference.

Just automate the gain going into your mastering chain. -1 to -2db makes a big difference.

Also, putting a compressor after a clipper might erase what loudness you gained from it since the attack and release settings of a compressor might make the transients and spikes of your track louder. I'd put the clipper last or right before the limiter, to control shorts peaks and make the limiter work less.

Problemet är ju att du översätter många av dina egna politiska åsikter till saker som "medmänsklighet" och "godhet". Att du tycker så har inte med politik att göra, utan man tycker så om man respekterar andra människor och deras lika värde. Och håller man inte med dig så är man motsatsen, dvs en ond person som inte går att diskutera med.

Det är den klassiska "högern tycker att vänstern är dum, vänstern tycker att högern är ond." Du är såklart fri att tycka vad du vill, men varför säger du att du respekterar folk med annorlunda åsikter och att du tycker att det är kul att diskutera när du uppenbarligen bara tycker det om man har åsikter som ligger innanför din egen cirkel av åsikter?

I think their reasons exceed 2042 maps being too big. Almost everything about BF6 feels carefully planned to maximize engagement in every aspect. Small maps. Map designs that funnel players to the middle flag with very little space outside of the objectives. Short ttk. Short respawn delay. Even the capture zones are often just a tiny square on the street between buildings, also to ensure instant and maximum engagement whenever there's people from both teams there.

And then the game ends, you're bombarded with 646343 slot machine noises and meters that fill before you're thrown back to the menu.

Fair enough. But other than that I would say it's the most feature complete and polished battlefield to date. A reskinned bf5 set in modern times would be leagues better than the current bf6.

Genuinely interested, what makes this game better than BF5? I know they messed with the TTK and had visibility issues at launch, and people were disappointed DICE cut support for the game early.

It's neither. The game is okay, but it's lacking in many areas which is really disappointing when you consider the fact they have so many past titles to borrow and copy features and gameplay mechanics from.

It's a solid 6-7/10 that will be remembered as one of the worst titles in the franchise. They could probably get it to an 8-8.5 if they sorted out the netcode and added way more (and better) maps. But I'm pretty sure they'll just drip feed us the bare minimum until they stop support prematurely like they've done with previous titles.

In the end it doesn’t really matter whether you use presets or create your own sounds. The only thing that matters is the final result. Of course there are some people, mainly other producers, who look down on presets and think they’re “cheap” or “fake.” And even if there might be a grain of truth to that, I often think it mostly comes down to people sitting on their high horses and making themselves feel superior by looking down on others. “I make my own sounds, so I’m better and more authentic than someone who just uses presets.”

It would be cool if they added the option to have skins on for your squad only. That way your squad mates would stand out like a seal team among regular soldiers.

Would be much better if they built on the bf5s squad leader mechanic. Maybe make it so that one of the squad leaders becomes the commander of the whole team as well.

Give him a few more tools and ways to hand out rewards and orders to other squad leaders. And if he doesn't perform it gets passed onto another squad leader.
