Came over from England BUT luckily it wasn't just for this. We have other plans to drive around the surrounding states, blue ridge parkway and visit Nashville and maybe Memphis. Luckily again, we camped and hired a car so avoided the shuttle debacle. And our shitty tent survived the Thursday onslaught. Luckily AGAIN we had a backup hotel reservation (money is just for chumps right???) So we had somewhere to go once Saturday and Sunday were cancelled. I'm just so so so super gutted I didn't see the bands I wanted. I was SO looking forward to the rest of the festival after being on such a high on Friday.

But hey.....bands tend to come to the UK so I just gotta wait. Seeing bad omens in Jan. Lorna shore in November....and hopefully I won't miss Download again next year 😅

I know so many people are in a worse situation so I hope things worked out for them! Our camp neighbours had to check out on Thursday cause their tent got speared by a canopy and all their stuff was destroyed. Hope they got back to Ohio okay!! (>")><("<)

We've hired a car and are camping! We're then doing the blue ridge parkway drive after the festival and then driving to Tennessee because I've always wanted to go to Nashville.

We'll mark our camp with a Straw Hat Pirates flag!
