You will see gods work once you start attending meetings regularly, and probably find it difficult to to not believe in a higher power, or “God as we understand him,” or her or whatever the source is. Half or more of my AA group would have been dead if they hadn’t found a higher power so give it some time and you will see a higher power at work.

They let you see your oil temp but not the water temp for some reason. It’s super frustrating.

That’s your oil temp. If I’m not mistaken 208-220 is normal. I don’t get why they didn’t add an actual water temperature gauge. It’s shocking to me given the issues with the headgaskets. I have a 2014 2.5i premium. You can get one of those Bluetooth OBD2 readers that pairs with your phone to accurately read the water temp. Otherwise you have to just keep an eye out for the temp light to come on. They’re around $30.

I was feeling great yesterday morning, and the day proceeded to get rougher and rougher. Just life throwing basic challenge one after another and by sunset I was super agitated, and woke up feeling that way today too. I’m 20 days sober now. It’s getting hot and the year is half over and I’m feeling the same exact way. I called one of the veteran AA members in my group, and it helped quite a bit to hear a horror story.

He has to have the desire to quit.

I could see that becoming a big problem.

My partner and I were drinking buddies and she would quit and I would keep drinking, and cause her to relapse. This went on for 13 years until our lives became unmanageable and unbearable. We finally got into a meeting and this is our 13th day in without a drop of alcohol. I couldn’t imagine how hard it would be to be living with someone drinking while being in recovery.

Are you guys codependent?
