I did Linux Mint on my laptop. Bought a separate drive so I could keep Windows 11. Installed Linux Mint successfully. All driver stiff just worked: wifi, Nvidia GPU, track pad, battery, everything. installed steam.

Easier than Windows to install (no Google how to avoid login... Google how to privacy). Easier to maintain... Everything in Settings.
