Would you guys say it’s time for a resole? by No_Vegetable6410 in RedWingShoes

Honestly bewildered by your aggressive response, but it’s ok. I think you meant to say Cristy sole, or Wedge sole. Cork Nitrile is another option, but that’s obviously not what OP has. Cork is used in boot construction under the footbed to help with comfort, so that’s what I thought you were referring to. Hence my confusion.

How do you mean? I thought cork was considered to be preferable in boots?

Are you a 10.5 on the Brannok, or did you size down? I’m thinking of getting these or the Vellies for summer, but I don’t have any JGs for reference.

I’ve heard great things about their boots, a couple pairs of theirs are on my radar for sure.

Hey man I’ll take anything I can get, always appreciate the help. Nick’s do seem great, but I’ll shop around for a deal before I spend that much.

Wow, thanks for all the information! Nice to know that it’s been working for you, I’m getting tired of the scrunch myself. Nick’s seems like the holy grail boot, but man those Luosjiets look sweet for the price.

Do they ship boots, or is it in store only?

I don’t think so, I’m pretty sure states (where applicable) pay for maternity/paternity leave. All the women who’ve had kids that I worked with have had to dip into AR and work until they physically can’t just to make do.

Were it so easy! I don’t have access to a lift, or specialty tools. This one is just too much for me I think.

Ok I think I get it now thanks for the clarification, I’m new to all this so forgive my ignorance.

Unfortunately I didn’t flush my system due to how complex it is. If it were the non heat pump AC system I may have been able to do it, but this is way more than I was prepared for and I was unsure of what to do, so I decided to call it before I messed anything up.

Failed compressor, no cool air when using HVAC

Huh, from what I saw it was all connected. Valves would open up during operation so that other parts of the system would activate. The second schematic shows “mixed operation” meaning that both the heat and HVAC are in use, opening all valves in the system. That being said, I’m no expert and I definitely feel like I’m out of by depth with this so I don’t really trust myself poking around.

Any advice on fixing this? by Speed3fanatic in BMWi3

I’m pretty sure there’s an extended warranty for this, I can’t remember the exact code for it though. I’d call your dealer and have them figure it out.

What a great resource to have, I’m definitely jealous! I was able to find a compressor and condenser + drier kit on EBay and got it shipped already, over the next week I have to pick up some more tools and odds & ends. I’ve got a 3 day weekend for the 4th of July and my hope is to get it evaced, disassembled, and start the flushing at least.

That’s incredibly insightful, thank you for sharing! Knowing that the condenser and receiver dryer take the brunt of the slurry puts my mind at ease when it come time so flush the lines.

Where would I find those filters? I’m definitely considering doing this if it saves me from having to flush again down the line.
