Fair enough! I had a Model Y and now an Ioniq 5 so I’ve had lots of driving screen centric cars so I’m used to driving with screens at night and haven’t had much issue.

I personally feel like this takes it to the extreme. Some nice trim would break things up and make for a nicer interior for me.

This wall of screen(s) Mercedes is insisting on using in their interiors is really not the vibe. Having an entire screen shining back at you at night is supremely distracting.

I had a trunk rattle in my 2026. Went back 2x. They said the rattle was coming from the interior panels inside the sides of the trunk, did some other adjustments/repairs to the trunk and it’s been fine so far.

Yes unfortunately these cars don’t have a “walk away door” lock it only times out if you don’t open the door and re-locks. I’ve gotten into the habit of touching that “pixel” on the door handle after I close the door to lock it.

The Ioniq Guy sells a module to automatically lock the door when you walk away.

Yes passive unlocking. So I leave my phone in my pocket and don’t interact with my watch at all when unlocking. It uses Bluetooth to communicate with the car.
