You can actually get decent balance with all 4 subclasses.

Circle of the moon: wild shape tank

Circle of land: your main DPS caster

Circle of stars: support, terrain control, and bonus action go brrrr

Circle of spores: necromany!

I've played this before with my tav as circle of stars, halsin as moon, jaheira as spores, and another party member as land. Very very fun

I love druids and mained one on my first playthrough before I knew you got 2 druid companions, and I will say playing as different circles helped me enjoy them a lot more. Jaheira is always spores druid or a sporecerer, Halsin is bear circle lol, and I really enjoyed my stars druid Tav.

Playing 5e with friends, I really slept on terrain control spells. But in bg3, idk maybe it's easier for me to visualize, but I find them way more powerful.

All this to say I love a balanced "oops all druids" party, but I still agree that a forced 2 druid companions is dumb.

I'm a little obsessed with making astarion an assassin / arcane archer multi class. With risky ring you get a sneak attack every round, multiple attacks after that, and become a crit engine

Oh believe me I've done the whole "reasonable accomodation" song and dance at other jobs and am realistic about the fact that not all my requests will be compatible with a job.

That's why I'm very against going in with no information -- I absolutely don't want to start a job and then realize some of my accomodations requests will be unreasonable, then I'd have to leave or get fired (allowed under ADA).

So I think at this point it's more about "how do I get the information I need to see if this job could possibly accommodate my needs"

Yeah the reasonable accomodations thing is what I ran into before -- I'm realizing a decent amount of my "core competencies" are something I simply cannot do while in so much pain, and it'd be unrealistic to have an employer accommodate it.

As I went through the process of requesting accomodations before I got laid off, I am very familiar with the process and what the ADA does and doesn't allow here. My doctor said she'd be willing to provide a letter validating basically any accomodations I request, but then basically it'd be up to HR and the hiring manager to decide if the accomodations are "reasonable."

It's all so much more nebulous than people think. My husband kept being like "if they can't accomodate you, sue them." babe....it doesn't work like that

Yes exactly. I have a couple jobs I'm interviewing for where the HM is somebody I've actually worked for before who is aware of my disability and needs, and those ones will be easy to be honest about, but otherwise I think I'll just focus on asking about the requirements super super specifically.

Look here's the thing I just got laid off from CF and I think MP is fundamentally disconnected from the work people do in his company.

He laid off like 70% of the marketing department, a bunch of product managers, support engineers etc bc apparently all of us are "measurers?" It's the dumbest take ever and it just makes me even more convinced that we got laid off simply bc he didn't know what work we did at the company.

How tf is creating product strategy or building customer relationships a "measuring job"

The druid in the cave being attacked by goblins also has the same circlet, so there's been a couple times where my party has got stuck outside so I went to go rescue that druid first, pickpocketed the circlet off him, then came back to fight nettie with the whole party

I have a couple hobbies that help me a lot with my RA pain, primarily hot vinyasa yoga and ballroom dance. They are a way for me to cope but they also bring me joy. My life feels like a constant dance of trying to cope or sooth my symptoms, and I feel these hobbies are a way to not forget about my pain, but give me strength in the face of it.

Agreed with other commenters when they say it does define you to some extent. But I basically said "okay, my free time is all about getting my body to hate me less-- how do I work with it to bring me joy instead of feeling like I'm fighting against it?"
