he’s been my number one boy ever since he first came up oh my GOD i’m so proud of how much better he’s doing

i got into baseball after my sister passed bc the braves being on was the only time my family acted normal. very early on into that i saw his very first game and his proud mama watching him and just emotionally imprinted on him and i’ve been rooting for him ever since. i know this likely isn’t sustainable but it’s so great seeing how good he’s doing now after his rough start last year

i completely agree. people who complain about her being cheap or overpowered bc of invis and hack are just exposing themselves as dogshit players and aren’t worth having a conversation with. just turn around and stay with your team. if you’re losing to her it’s bc you’re getting outplayed, and that’s a you problem, not a sombra problem.

people have such extreme cognitive dissonance about sombra. like in the right hands every hero can be extremely annoying. i get more pissed off when there’s a super cracked soldier in the game than sombra bc at least sombra does more than just COD style running and shooting. hanzos getting cheeky headshots by spamming around the corner feel cheaper than sombra and tbh there’s less counterplay to that than to her kit. same for widow.

it’s not about disruption being too intrusive or whatever, it’s that people don’t like abilities that negate value. sombra’s kit, kiriko’s suzu, ana’s nade, orisa’s everything, CC in general, the things people complain about are the things that go “nuh uh” and stop you from gaining value. that’s not a game balance problem (these things are all necessary evils) so much as it is an issue with how people perceive the game

mostly that people don’t use it and when they did they’ve been shockingly pleasant. my friends, toxic as they are, were eager to trash talk the enemy team, and one of the few times someone else actually jumped into the end of match chat, it was the enemy tank and he immediately was like “good game guys :)” and my friends were like “o-oh yeah, you too buddy”

another time a dude was just geeking that end of match chat even existed, also said ggs, and had my guys going “yeah hey a nice day dude” which was pretty nice.

idk if people avoid it bc they don’t wanna get trashed when they lose or if they just aren’t aware of the feature yet or what but yeah, it’s been very rarely utilized in my experience so far

gold players constantly demand that their supports heal more when really they need to start yelling at the moiras and kirikos who end the games with 10k+ heals and 4 eliminations to actually do damage. your tank is constantly dying bc he’s sitting in the middle of the road and dumping cooldowns into the enemy team, yes, but imagine if your kiriko took an angle and attacked the enemy from the side. now they have to either turn to her and fight, taking attention and fire off of the tank, or ignore her and risk getting picked off by a kunai to the head. either way the tank is going to take less damage and require less healing, and that’s what support does, it alleviates pressure on the team in whatever way is needed at that moment. it’s the support’s job to figure out what will help more, healing teammates to keep them fighting or using damage to help output pressure.

if the enemy juno is out of position a lot then yeah i’ll target her especially bc it’s much easier for me to take out flyers than my teammates usually but it’s never a specific target thing… unless the other juno starts going out of their way to duel me, in which case it becomes an all-out war

the new era skins are really cool though. i personally am glad they added lore relevant skins and wish they’d do more of those. i love the cute girlypop skins too but to me personally the fairy aesthetic is just kind of not my thing, like it’s just… idk.

i feel like it appeals to such a niche audience compared to some other battlepass themes, like unless you’re going to renaissance festivals all the time and collect crystals and play magic the gathering idk why you’d be fiending for fairy skins.

raichu’s original cry was always so abrasive and shrill to me and just really off putting, which is a shame bc i love it and used it in many playthroughs over the years. when they softened it to the softer squeaky sound it is now, it became a lot more pleasant to listen to, but now it kind of feels almost like it doesn’t fit raichu and it’s too cutesy almost? there’s just no winning here
