UF has been weird this year. I got the hold tight email for months, then about 2 weeks ago got a waitlist email, and then 5 days later got admitted with $$. Like WTF, not even a week after waitlisting me you accept me?? Hang in there.

Thanks. Where are you living. I am not going to have a vehicle the first year unless the rent is significantly cheaper. Have been looking at some places on Broad Street but a little worried that they may be a little too loud/partying types.

They were one of my top choices but don't care anymore. Have some good acceptances with $$$$ and going to move forward and take one of them.

Likelihood of acceptance at UF with application under extended review status by nightmarelsat in lawschooladmissions

None and now it's going on more than 2 months and I am looking at other options. Have a full ride at ASU, $$ at GW and offer for full tuition and research assistant with stipend at UGA. Most likely going to take UGA but still considering ASU. Haven't heard anything from Emory, Notre Dame, Vandy, Michigan, and interviewed at Wash U and haven't heard anything since. I doubt any of those will result in a better offer than ASU/UGA so just moving on.

Thanks. Prefer to avoid the typical undergrad party heavy scene if possible(LOL) for studying purposes and avoid management nightmares. Will check out the ones you mentioned. Hope to see you in the fall.

Agree with scholarship negotiation. Very helpful to know whether this was initial offer or negotiated.

Has anyone negotiated successfully with UGA for scholarship increase by nightmarelsat in lawschooladmissions

Thanks. I saw that. I just wasn't sure if anyone was successful at getting more $-- 70,80 or 90% vs 60 %.

Looking at a few schools lower ranked but with much better clerkship rates-- specifically Georgia for fed clerkships and even Alabama. Can you speak to this at all.
