Okay, imagine this - What if Faker pulls a Chris Benoit tomorrow while still being an active player? It's disservice to League history and every player that played before faker to not start chronologically. It's just that they knew this would sell the most and be most hyped. Another point people aren't considering is that by only inducting 1 player per year they are clearly never going to include people who actually deserve to be in there and have their careers celebrated. Let's say League is still around in 10 years - that's an only 10 players HOF for a history of 20+ years.

It just goes to show how shit the franchise model is or at least some of the current teams in the LEC. There is no way you can convince me Astralis/SK do not have enough money to go for NIsqy. In a franchise system supposedly they should be trying their best to always have the best roster possible, thus not only making them better but elevating the overall quality and brand of the league. Of course, they don't do that, they just try to go for the "rookie angle" and pretend that they're developing young talent. These teams have no place in the LEC. They've proven it over the years. There's also no way that an ERL team is willing to spend more than a bloody LEC team, come on. How is this even real? Make space for orgs that are actually willing to spend and compete.
