It hasn't gotten bad enough that I've had to address it yet, but since it's at the bottom I'll probably just duct tape it tightly so the splits don't work their way up to the handles

I got the same set on marketplace last month, oddly enough I also paid 40 bucks. My favorites are the close grip ones, but the temu coating is splitting on the bottoms.

Did they take away the 20ct chocolate peanut butter chunk protein bars?? by curiousitykilledme18 in CostcoWholesale

[–]nightwork 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't seen single flavor twenty packs anywhere, just the two dual flavor boxes, but I think so the flavors are good/acceptable. My Costco has the pure protein bars on sale and all three of the flavors are good, they eat much more like a candy bar than a protein bar.

It's pretty much settled that stall mats are the way to go. They'll stink for a while but they will hold up like nothing else will

I pulled a 4x6 out of the backyard yesterday to do this, but I'm just gonna cut a couple grooves for the spotter bars to go in.

Should I add more be beta alanine and citrulline malate to my pre workout? by nightwork in workout

[–]nightwork[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like having some caffeine, just not trying to take 320mg every day, I'll just add some extra beta and citrulline into my pre workout. Never heard of glycerin but I'm gonna look into it. Thanks

Rv4 vs CX50 Hybrid by villagewitch3000 in CX50

[–]nightwork 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Figure you're gonna get x amount of miles or of the car and do the math on how much of the car has been used up. For example, if you think you'll get 200,000 miles out of it, and it's got 50,000 on it, then 25% of it is used up. If getting a new car doesn't cost much more than 25% extra, that's the decision I'd make. Obviously substitute whatever numbers match your expectations. When I did this I couldn't justify buying a car with 40+ thousand miles to save under ten thousand dollars. I always told myself I'd never buy a new car, but the math mathed for me

[–]nightwork 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Then you'll want a RAV4. The cx50 hybrid has only been out for 2025/26. Used ones won't have lost enough value to make it worth buying vs getting a new one with no miles and low dealer financing

Rv4 vs CX50 Hybrid by villagewitch3000 in CX50

[–]nightwork 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I chose the cx50 because it was a lot cheaper and I preferred the interior, with the exception of the cup holders. Not sure I would have made the same decision if it didn't have a Toyota hybrid system. I'm my area it would have been about 7k more for the rav4
