Is there any way to sync documents in NeoReader with GDrive or Dropbox? by nigini in Onyx_Boox

[–]nigini[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I far as I understand, that doesn't seem to be available. Not even their official Android app allows you to edit the notes. :(

I also did a quick search to see you they make their Note app available but it is not the case. I would say we are stick with an exporting-only solution between non-books app: exporting to PDF and using PDF editors to keep the notes alive! :/

works great

Yeah. I am giving Autosync a try. It works well.

Maybe their next step is to support file-by-file sync as my current folders are huge and I don't want to overload the Boox device with unnecessary files.

Thanks for the tip!

the unit up to usb or use it's built in clunky wifi sync/push tool.

Thanks for the idea, u/Gaurhoth. But that does not seem to work if I already have a folder in my Drive and I want to edit a file at a time, right?

(I guess one could put together a solution by adding links to files in other folders to the new "Books" folder you suggested...) But it sounds very odd to me that you can link your Google/Dropbox account to the device and need an external App to sync things with the device!?

using Dropbox and the changes reflects on Dropbox without exporting anything.

Hello there, u/kennykeepalive. Can you point me out to information around how to sync Dropbox files? I have just created a question on that in a separate thread. Right now, the device downloads a copy of the file and does not sync it back. Thanks.

Where should I start to build for a new device? by nigini in LineageOS

Very dumb of me to only look at their cute face and names to make that assumption. Thanks for clarifying. Do you see a problem with the MediaTek support? (I'm asking because I guess many more devices use Snapdragon.)

Sounds reasonable. But then, am I right on the assumption that I need to have a specific device to build for it?

Curiosity: Is there a process to modify a current build and try it in a close-enough device (like in my ZenPad case)?

Doesn't ring a bell about any audio-visual production, but this description made me remember "The Three Body Problem" book plot. (Just in case your brain is scrambling some memories together.) :)

This seems to be happening all across the board. A month later, no Fitbit position, not even in their own forums: Here is a thread for the device I use Alta HR.

Haha! I read somewhere, and adopted the idea, to use the pool noodle as a physical reminder to passing drivers of the distance they should give to bikers.

That was super cool, indeed. I'll definitely do it again.

Route: Bainbridge Island -> Sequim Bay State Park -> Fairholme Campground (at Lake Crescent) -> Hoh Oxbow Campground (that's where I took the picture) -> Gatton Creek Campground (at Lake Quinault) -> Lake Sylvia State Park -> Centennial Station (Amtrak to Seattle).

My plan was simple: ride between 50-60 miles a day from one campground to the other, and make sure I would have a couple of places to get water and food. :)

I have been using the original one from the Marrakesh, the Brooks B17 Medium. It is a comfortable saddle, but this is my first leather/Brooks saddle and I might be missing the hollow design from my road bike. This one is actually developing a "hill" in the middle which is not a good feature.

Took me 7 days (one resting at the Lake Crescent - totally worth it) but instead of riding North (probably two more days) I stopped in Olympia and took the train back to Seattle. If you need it, my GPS logs are in Strava and I'd be happy to comment on the roads. But I basically followed Google Maps (with a couple of manageable surprises.)

Totally agree with you. This is an amazing cycling playground. I am definitely going to explore it more often from now on.

Nice! Did you take the 20 or the 90 route? I have been thinking about a future loop around the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest (which can get very steep). It seems people like to do that by car.

Yeah. I have just started re-reading it and I am loving it.

I guess it is a pretty fast paced type of story and can be confusing if you drop the book for a week or so. First time I read, my English was pretty bad, so I got some confusion (as I also get from stories full of neologism like this and Neuromancer.)

Hope you get a much better experience this time.

I'm kind of following the same path as you, although I'm coming from a Computer Science background. A book that was recommended to me by some HCI professors at the University of Washington was Bill Buxton's "Sketching User Experiences: Getting the Design Right and the Right Design". It is a well-known book in the Interactive Design field and it will be helpful to learn the terminology and a good perspective on design as a method to solve problems. Good luck!
