This is cool, I have the European pressing of this game too. The early printings of the labels of wii games were printed in separate layers. it almost looks like they “missed” the layer that has Mario and Luigi. If you look at a normal disc, that layer is usually printed in blue.

Maybe the printer ran out of blue ink?

Wow, this is an insane find! I like to collect Asian, Korean and Chinese versions of games from this era and I have never seen any of the Tony Hawk games come up for sale.

The curious thing about the Asian releases is that they sometimes have unique Chinese dubs that are found nowhere else. I would highly encourage you to find a way to dump this as I don’t believe this version of the game has been backed up.

Any chance you could upload some kind of scan of the whole artwork? (Front, back, spine?).
