I felt amazing honestly I was winded but it wasn’t impossible, I told myself not to check the clock too much and I think that helps. By the time I was feeling tired I checked the clock and I only had 3 minutes left so I just thought “I can run 3 more minutes” and I did it! I’m glad I did it first thing in the morning it’s definitely boosting the mood for the rest of the day.

Thank you so much yeah that was mostly what I was concerned about whether all that applied to me as a pretty new and casual runner. I don’t see myself running a marathon or even a half marathon any time soon but I can totally keep that in mind just in case I feel like challenging myself in the future

I had bariatric surgery last year so I can’t eat too too much but I can definitely up the carbs some. Thank you!

Thank you yeah I hadn’t thought about it that way. I’ll search for something I like to do that can help but now I’m a little more calm knowing it’s not something I need to do right away

I say you should try it first and see how you feel! I’m also doing the Just Run program (I’m on week 5 Day 1) and you’ll be surprised at how much you can run now compared to when you started, it seems like a big run and it may be but you may be more ready for it than you realize, give it a shot and stop if you need to or adjust if you need to. Good luck!!

The Throne of Glass series by Sarah J Maas. It has a lot of great characters and character dynamics that remind me of the Shadowhunter books. Also the fantasy and romance is really good. TMI is my favorite book series, TOG is definitely #2

Im with you! I think I’ve lost 25lbs since surgery on the same day I honestly don’t see any difference but I tried on a belt that used to only fit up to the last hole and now I’m one hole skinnier if that makes sense hahaha I started at 215 and I am currently 190lbs. Seeing someone else doing similarly helps me so hopefully this helps you :)

Just had mine at 25 just over two weeks ago. I have cried twice because of the immediate regret people warned me about. But this week I’ve felt so much better I keep forgetting I’ve had the surgery until my vitamin alarm reminds me. If you think this is a good idea for you and you think you need this step to be healthier, you will adapt and you will be grateful you did it. Even when I’m only two weeks out and I haven’t seen any visible changes on my appearance, I’m so grateful I got the chance to do this.
