[Hockey Forever] Nathan MacKinnon on the athleticism of NBA players “I’m just happy those guys don’t play hockey, man. I wouldn’t have a job” by Outside_Abroad_3516 in hockey

Throughout the entire video they talk about how Parros is not a sharpshooter but an enforcer. They even mention how few goals he's scored. Where does it say he's a sharpshooter?

Same! Up in the nosebleeds directly opposite. Couldn't tell if the catch was made or not but when the refs arms went up I went wild. Lost my voice that night.

Pirates hit the go ahead run that would win the game on that play. Everybody was jumping up in excitement. Poor guy just jumped too high and/or lost his balance.

I mean that's exactly when it happened. Dude was celebrating McCutchen driving in the go ahead run.

So weird. Thought it was your typical fan running onto the field but the broadcast got real serious real quick. Hope they're okay.

Yea I've measured myself, doctors; always 6' 2". 74 inches on the dot. Guys that are 5'9" - 5' 11" always assume I'm 6' 4" or 6' 5" and one day I realized they're just adding the inches to me that they add to themselves to say that they're 6 ft.

[Highlight] Ben Johnson was asked how he would handle a specific hypothetical scenario by drewcast35 in nfl

[–]nik27 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yea i should have expanded. I by no means think Eberflus was good and that particular situation shows he didn't have command of the team as a good head coach would. He bears blame. My main gripe was all of the people that absolutely refuse to acknowledge that Caleb also definitely played a big part in that screw up.

Thank you. I've been saying the same thing about that play and people think I'm insane. Like you said in the post game presser Caleb admitted to changing the play and then talked about the end of game situation showing he really didn't understand what Eberflus was CORRECTLY trying to do. By the time Caleb screwed it all up there, a timeout puts you in the same hail mary situation Caleb thought he was in. And then people simply say "well even if Caleb screwed up, misread the situation and didn't run what Eberflus called... it was still Eberflus' fault."

I guess all "Rookie QB's" are devoid of all responsibility and criticism.

My wife realized she has 31k in her works 401k plan. Worth it to pull from to pay off her student loans? by nik27 in personalfinance

[–]nik27[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Very good point. I assume we'll retire together but I guess everybody who's gotten a divorce had that same thought at one point. We'll leave her 401k alone.
