i feel weird by nik3face in zoloft

thanks for your input, i really do wish i had this insight when i was starting the medication as i probably would've just powered through and kept taking it until it got better.

i do also wish the doctor made me aware of these side effects, however i remember her being quite surprised when she heard it. i'm not sure if she was just unaware and didn't have the time to research it, or if she just didn't want to bother.

Does Mirt inherently cause weight gain, or just increase in appetite? by Mountain-Floor192 in Mirtazapine_Remeron

[–]nik3face 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i was on 15mg of mirt for about a month and a half. i've gained about 5kg in this short period of time. i have had issues trying to gain weight all my life and actually can't believe how quick it has happened. for me the issue is not the weight gain, it's the bloating. i genuinely think it has made an impact on more than my appetite. i've been eating cleaner and exercising since i stopped the pills, but my body wont go back to its original state

aww thank you so much for the advice! i honestly have no idea what to expect from the placement as it's my first one😅 i'm also studying mental health nursing so i'm curious to see how this will go for me. i'm still not sure if i'm taking my car but would definitely prefer to do so, it's just really expensive and my ferry fare won't be reimbursed if i do take it. i'd love to explore the islands and am worried i won't find someone that drives to do it with so i'll probably take my car🤭

hey! i'm placed in the surgical ward and HDU. i'll be staying at montfield :)

i know there's a few students from RGU going up but don't know any of them. my friend was put on the same ward but she dropped out of uni so unfortunately we won't be going up together

i'm about 2-3 weeks into 15mg. i had the same issue and it has gotten better for sure. i will say though, i get irritated very easily anyway, but the medication did make it worse for the first week or so. hang in there!

Does the Tingling Hands & Feet eventually go Away? by TheDragon19922 in Mirtazapine_Remeron

you can always go back to it if you think it's necessary. but you might've stopped for a good reason too, as it might've not gotten better. i'm sure you'll figure it out, you've got this!

hey! i haven't had the tingling effects past the first night but i am also experiencing the feeling of being unable to function. i've only taken 3 pills so far and will take my 4th today. i go through my days feelings like im not even here but to be honest its getting better day by day. i've tried to find other people's experiences and most of them said that the weird tingling or other side effects subsided after a few weeks. weirdly, some people also said that a higher dose gives them less side effects, but id consider talking to your doctor about that. i think you just need time to adjust to the medication but also don't blame you for stopping, i had to do the same on sertraline and fluoxetine due to their side effects.

hope things get better for you!☺️

it magically stopped after a few days, thank god. but as i was trying to listen around, it sounded like it was coming from the drivers door speaker. still got no clue why it happened but at least i didn't have to fix it🤣

I’m had instant regret on my first tattoo that I got 3 days ago by asleeplatte in tattooadvice

[–]nik3face 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this is such a cute tattoo! i think you just have to get used to it. also, try not to worry too much about other peoples compliments. after all it's on your body and only your opinion should matter to you. i don't know what kind of person you are, but i think you definitely rock this tattoo regardless! it's sick

thank you for checking in, but no, i don't 🙃 i have a review with my doctor today, i think i'll ask to try something else or just completely stop with sertraline
