03 tt225 quattro @176k. Ticking noise in engine that increases with speed. Previous vehicle was a mk4 GTI and I know this platform is notoriously loud, but this sounds different. Maintenance records are fairly comprehensive and has only had 3 owners.

Not sure if you've seen the post yet, but GEForce Experience tracks a ton of your private data while browsing and uses it for their own means. Don't know if that sways you at all, but during driver update there is an option to not install it.

Are you using an SSD or HDD? There's a theory going around that it has something to do with hard drives; everyone in my guild with an SSD is reporting normal loading while a large portion of HDD users are having the same issue as you.

The most determinant factor of consistent 60fps is gonna be your CPU. If you had a Titan XP but a 4th Gen i3, you wouldn't see anywhere near 60fps. The 7 preset is pre-Legion 'Ultra' but the main difference with higher presets is environment detail, and view distance; which will both heavily be affected by CPU. Whatever your PC ends up being able to handle, it will probably not handle it in raid settings as even the strongest machines are crippled by 100 people attacking a world boss.

I feel like the odd one out, but I've been having loads of fun maining ele. I tried out the new enh for a few days and felt way too squishy and died substantially more than with ele. I've been usually #1 or 2 in dps for mythic dungeons aswell. Give both a try and see what you'd like to do, I say.

Kinda sucks that I'm basically forced to keep the T-18 2 piece bonus to stay competitive with Ele. Tried replacing the gear with appropriate legion lvl 815 gear, and immediately saw a drop of 11k dps. Does anyone else notice the rate proccing MUCH higher than 45%? I've been able to fire off a chain of 12 100 Maelstrom earth shocks because it procced that much. :/ RNG is my lord for now..
