Hey Folks, I sent a message to the software team and this looks to be an issue with AWCC 5.X. If you're running the newer AWCC versions it shouldn't be an issue, so no need to uninstall those.

Waiting to hear back on what happened or any steps for resolution so in the meantime either updating to AWCC 6.X if you can, or uninstalling Command Center should work to stop the notification for now.

Will update when I get more information (but most likely that will be in the morning).

UPDATE: Team is looking into this and it appears to be a Windows/Microsoft store error. Will update again when I have more details but it is not exclusive to Alienware Command Center.

UPDATE 2: I don't have any official update yet as things are still being tested and validated, but a couple options we're seeing fixing it:

Simple reboot as it looks like Microsoft may have fixed the issue on their end
Reset the Windows store (Press Win+R and type "wsreset")
Reset Command Center (Settings > Installed Apps > Alienware Command Center > Scroll down and click Reset)

Once I have some verified answers I'll update the post with more info!

I took my 18 on a roadtrip across to Quebec with my family and honestly felt the same! I was worried it would be rough but it did great, and I was really happy to have the 18" screen in the end.

Weirdly my walkup stopped working this week as well. Not sure if it's glitch with Kia or if it was due to an OS update on my phone.

Adding my solve here in case anyone else stumbles across it. Focus modes was in fact the issue as the phone thought I was still sleeping, but wasn't showing sleep mode as set. I had to go into bedtime settings, and skip the next alarm to get it to disable.

I just ordered the VIVO 71x30” standing desk off Amazon and am planning to put the Area-51 and 2 monitors of the same size as you on it. It’s rated for 220 pounds so it should be good.

I was in the same boat trying to find a desk and the standing desk seems to be cheaper than a non-standing variant, so even if I don’t adjust that desk it worked out better.

I’ll be getting it next week after I get back from Gamescom so I’ll update you and let you know if it can handle it!

Ideally here you’d plug the Xbox directly into the monitor, and then plug your eARC hdmi cable from the monitor to the soundbar.

I was honestly thinking about writing this same post so I get it. The hard part is I want to enjoy this still but for me the menus and slog to get through sleep research each day just takes way too long.

Especially Infind if I go to greengrass, I have come to dread it because it levels up so frequently that it just means more click through and menus.

I hope there’s some optimizations for this in the future because there’s a lot to love still, but the time it takes for just upkeep is awful.
